Could You Teach the Word of God?: Sign Up Now for January Class on Biblical Hermeneutics!
Updated: Dec 17, 2019
One of the clarion calls of the Protestant Reformation was summed up by the great bible translator and martyr, William Tyndale, who said:
"I perceived how that it was impossible to establish the lay people [i.e. the local church] in any truth except the Scripture were plainly laid before their eyes in their mother tongue."
But, now that we have access to the Bible, not just in our own language, but digitally at our fingertips and in multiple translations, do we actually know it well enough to preach and teach it? At the New Hope Academy we seek to honor martyrs like Tyndale who gave their utmost to bring the Bible into the hands of the common man, woman and child.
At New Hope Academy, we offer classes that will equip local saints to continue in the vision and mission of Reformers like Tyndale, preparing them to do the work of evangelists, and become teachers of God's Holy Word. Starting January 17th, Jeff Lee, will lead an 8-week class on Biblical Hermeneutics: the Art & Science of Bible Interpretation.
