Anthony has a BA from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and two Masters Degrees from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University in Christian Apologetics and Theology. Anthony's areas of focus are Apologetics and Systematic Theology. He has published in both academic journals and magazines and co-authored two chapters in Evidence that Demands a Verdict, edited by Josh and Sean McDowell.
Jacob Daniel, PhD
Jacob Daniel is an international speaker, apologist, and cultural analyst. He is the Founder and Director of Heritage Counsel (heritagecounsel.org). Born and raised in India, he grew up amidst diverse cultures and worldviews. Over the past 15 years he has travelled and lived in different parts of the world pursuing education and career in diverse disciplines. He received his pre-doctoral degree in India and did advanced studies in International Development at the University of Manchester (UK). It was during this time his interest in theology and philosophy grew; subsequently, he went to the University of Oxford to study theology and to Biola University to earn a degree in Christian Apologetics. Jacob has a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Biola University. He is married to Preeta and they call Los Angeles their home
James Johansen, PhD
Jim Johansen has a MS in electrical engineering from USC, two MA degrees from Biola in Science and Religion, and Christian Apologetics, and a PhD in Theology and Apologetics from Liberty University.
Ken Valardi has been a pastor, university campus ministry and US Air Force chaplain for over a decade. He holds two Master's Degrees in Christian Education and Church History and is currently working on two more Master's in New Testament Studies and Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University.
New Hope Pastor & Instructor
After serving almost 9 years in the United States Marine Corps, John surrendered his life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ at age 26. Since then, he has served in various ministry positions as a pastor and a teacher. John pursued undergraduate education at Biola University where he finished his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and then attended Talbot School of Theology to finish his Master's degree in the same. John is a current PhD student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary studying Biblical Spirituality under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Pennington. He is married to the joy of his life, Breanna, and they have three children together.
Jeffrey Lee has a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Real Estate and Land Economics from California State University, Fresno and two Masters Degrees from Talbot School of Theology in Philosophy and Bible Exposition. Jeff is the national projects coordinator for Christian Educators Association International, a non-profit association helping to equip and support Christian public and charter school educators as they walk out their faith in their schools. As a recent graduate, he is looking forward to teaching the research and writing course at New Hope Academy. May God richly bless those who attend these courses and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Doug Lindquist currently serves as pastor of the English Ministry at Goodtree Fellowship, a local Korean church. He holds a BA in Ministry Leadership from New Hope Christian College in Eugene, OR and an MA in Philosophy from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA. His passion is to teach the teachings of Jesus and to learn--slowly and imperfectly--to live them.
